Colorado opened my world up to new possibilities. With the established recreational marijuana scene, it is hard not to feel like a kid in a candy store. As I examined different strains throughout the state, curiosity built up inside me. What magic could I create if I were to mix and match strains?
Golden Goat and Jungle Cheese

Golden Goat produces an uplifting, energetic vibe with waves of euphoria. When mixed with Jungle Cheese, a strain that delivers mindful spaciness, each strain enhances one another as a healthy couple should. They were destined to be together forever. This smooth smoke and a pleasing sharp lemony cheesy taste will have you singing praises to this holy high all day.
Adding MAC to the mix
The only reason why I would mix this strain in with Golden Goat and Jungle Cheese is not because of its particular high but the mountain-full of THC on its surface. It helps to bring out the effects of the other two strains. The word is that MAC is easy to grow, so finding this strain to use as a THC enhancer will not be an issue.

The THC crystals are known as trichomes. MAC trichomes stack together in abundance when ground up in an electric coffee grinder. Use it as a topping for this tasty dessert!

Chem de la Chem and Golden Goat
Had a late night? This mix is a power booster that is guaranteed to wake you up! With Chem de la Chem's extra charge of energy complimenting Golden Goat's qualities, you might as well call it green coke.

Tropicana Cookies and Guava Wookie

Crescendo was one of my most potent herbs. I purchased it summer of 2021, and it lost most of its potency by the spring of 2022. I wanted to see if I could mix multiple strains to produce the same sedative effect, and lo and behold, Tropicana Cookies and Guava Wookie did the trick!
I was surprised because Guava Wookie's only sedative effect is putting you asleep, not keeping you asleep. It is a different type of feeling. When I mixed it with Tropicana Cookies, I had the feeling of wanting to go to sleep and actively staying in a deep sleep. Even when I would wake up to go to the bathroom, the sense of deep sleep was heavy. I only have gotten that with Crescendo.
To keep in mind, not all Guava Wookie strains come out with the same type of high. I have had Guava Wookie from Trinidad and Denver, Colorado. They both hit me differently. The strain from Trinidad was more of a heady high, and the one from Denver was more of an Indica hybrid.
Blueberry Headband and Tropicana Cookies

This is the section where I feel it would be appropriate to say the snozzberries taste like snozzberries. One whiff should get you to see why they named it Blueberry Headband. Mixed with the fruity flowery yumminess of Tropicana Cookies, you sure will have a relaxful and focused afternoon under the influence.
Crescendo and Guava Wookie

Do you need extra strength sleeping medicine? This deadly duo is the one-hitter quitter you'll want to pack your bowl with!
Purchase a little bit of Guava Wookie first to ensure it has the Indica component. You can always buy more at some of Denver's dispensaries.
Final Thoughts
You don't have to wait for the industry to breed these strains together. Mixing different ones during a smoking session is just as good. Stay tuned for more studies about other cannabis strain interactions! Become a member today by subscribing!
